It’s here! CLE Mobile Version 2, that is.
Authored by Shawn Stavseth, Director of Marketing
Now available as a free download from Apple’s App Store, CLE Mobile Version 2 is West LegalEdcenter’s response to user suggestions to improve the app. The main new functions include the ability to search, purchase and delete programs from the app itself, rather than having to log on to www.westlegaledcenter.com.
You can find out more from our company’s press release, or go right to the App Store to take a test drive.
Our plans are to issue another upgrade later this year, so keep your comments coming. We’re committed to listening to our users and incorporating your feedback. Thanks to everyone who has already shared their thoughts!

I have a CLE program I want to watch through you guys that’s not on the CLE app. How can I get you guys to make it available to my Ipod?
Hi Tom,
What is the title of the program?
Chris
Chris- I just wanted to follow up to see if your company is any closer to creating an android app. Far more people use android than Iphone. The most recent survey indicated that 43% of all smartphones use android versus only 28% that use the Iphone system. It makes good sense to add an android app as soon as posible. Do you have a timetable at releasing the app?
Thanks,
Keith
Hi Keith,
Thanks for following up. Unfortunately I don’t have much of an update for you. We’re aware of the growth and popularity of Android, in fact, I’m an avid Android user myself. We’re trying to determine our technology priorities for the next year or two and things like an Android mobile app as well as a mobile optimized website are on the list of considerations. I regret not having more progress to report and, at this point, I’m unable to give you a timeframe. I assure you that you’ve been heard and will be notified when we make more significant progress.
Regards,
Chris
Hi. I am a subscriber to WestLegalEd. I know you have an IPod app but can I listen to my CLEs on my Android HTC Evo smartphone??
Jacki,
Thanks for your question. Unfortunately we do not have CLE Mobile available for Android at this time. However, as Android continues to grow, we’re exploring the possibility of creating the app for that platform in addition to the Apple version. I wish I had a timeline to share with you but unfortunately do not. I’ll certainly contact you when I have more information about CLE Mobile for Android.
