The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued important updates to the reporting schedule and guidance for the Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP Extension Act of 2007 (MMSEA). These updates affect who must report, when they should report, and what settlements, judgments, and awards to Medicare recipients are reportable. Additionally, there are several outstanding issues beyond these updates, including how self-insured entities should report settlements in mass torts and other cases where information on the claim and claimant is unavailable.
Download your way to quick and easy credits. You’ve got nothing to lose.

You have to keep up.
As of January 1, 2010, 47 jurisdictions require attorneys to continue their education to retain their license to practice law (MCLE). Of these, 46 currently allow some or all MCLE credits to be earned online. State requirements vary, including the number of credits that may be earned in this format.
To make your busy life simpler, we’ve recreated the West LegalEdcenter online experience with our new CLE Mobile app. All of the regulatory safeguards that states require have been incorporated in the Mobile environment. You earn credits just as you would with an on demand program at West LegalEdcenter, not just with a downloaded podcast for self-study credit.
Once you’ve completed the program and submitted the information to West LegalEdcenter, we verify that you’ve followed all the viewing rules and we issue you a Certificate of Completion. We’ll also report your program completion to the state accrediting authority where allowed. It’s that easy.
